1. Mate noun UK Informal

Mate means a friend. It is used by men who know each other and also between complete strangers.

It can be used to rudely tell someone to go away because they are annoying you.

4. Nice one! Exclamation

A general expression of approval. If someone does something particularly impressive, you might say "nice one" to them.

よくやった、という感嘆の表現です。誰かなかなか感心するようなことをした場合、その人に“nice one”と声をかける事もあるでしょう。
例）

• パブでジョンは果敢にモデルの一人に声をかけ、電話番号をもらうことに成功します。席に戻ってくると、仲間から一斉に「nice one, John!」と声がかかります。
