Wee This is a wonderful light-hearted Scottish word (but usable throughout the UK) meaning small. It could be interpreted as meaning "cute" in the "cute and cuddly" sense. E.g. My grandparents live in a wee cottage up north. Would you care for a wee bit more to eat? It is also used UK-wide meaning to urinate (informal or child’s word). "Mommy, I want to wee!" 4. Whip-round A whip-round is a collection of money made by a group of people (usually impromptu and informal), which is then given to a particular person or used to buy a present for them. You might have a whip-round for Mike's bus-fare home but you probably wouldn't have one for his triple heart bypass. E.g. We had a whip-round for Ken's leaving present. 5. Willie In the UK, willie is a rather childlike word for penis. There are rumors that the film Free Willie attracted large optimistic female audiences when it was released in UK. More next month!			1.
